A little guidance goes a long way
Help & how it works
How do I report an issue?
Choose a category, describe the issue, and confirm the location on the map or enter its coordinates. You can add photos, audio or video. Review the details and submit. A successful submission opens a permanent report page with its reference number.
Does a report go directly to the government?
Reports are saved publicly on this independent platform. Saving a report does not lodge an official government grievance. Use the official contact directory or the CPGRAMS link on your report to submit it through the relevant government channel.
Can I report without an account?
Yes. A guest report appears under Anonymous. Save its link to find it again. Guest reports cannot later be added to your account. Sign in before submitting to track activity and receive in-app updates.
What if location access is unavailable?
Choose your state and district using the area selector. In the report form, choose a point on the map or enter latitude and longitude manually. Check the address before submitting.
How does language selection work?
When you allow location access, the app selects a regional language for your area. Your manual language choice always takes priority. Open the language selector at any time to change it. User-written reports keep their original text; use Translate to read a machine translation.
How are official contacts checked?
The directory publishes names and contacts that appear in cited official sources. Each record links to its source and shows when it was checked. A published email is not a guarantee of delivery. Report an incorrect or outdated entry using Suggest a correction.
Why are some offices missing from the matrix?
Exact ward, municipal and constituency assignments need official jurisdiction evidence. Where that evidence is missing or an officeholder is unknown, the app shows a gap. An MP is matched to a parliamentary constituency, which may differ from a district.
Who changes a report's status?
Application administrators can review a report and record a status change with an explanation. The report history shows these updates. A platform status is not an official government acknowledgement.
What information is public?
Your report, location, uploaded evidence, public display name, comments and community posts are visible to other visitors. Do not include identity documents, bank details, passwords, private contact details or images that expose someone else's personal information. Feedback and bug reports are visible to you and administrators.
Can I continue a report later?
The form saves your text and selected map location on this device when browser storage is available. Reopen the same report form to continue. Photos, audio and video must be attached again. An internet connection is required to submit.
How do petitions and volunteering work?
Signed-in users can create community initiatives. Supporting a petition records one signature per account; joining a volunteer activity records interest. These actions do not submit a legal petition, transfer money or confirm attendance with an external organisation.
How can I suggest an improvement or report a problem?
Use Feedback to describe the problem, what you expected, and the steps to reproduce it. You can follow its status from the same page after signing in.
